This was my fathers business and family home from 1982 until 2004ish. During that period it was still a Post Office accompanied by sweet shop and then a greengrocers. My brothers and I found some of the products sold during the era of this picture, including: toothpaste, bars of soap and boot polish.

I lived next to the Milton Studio from 1949 and moved away just before Harry died and all changed. Remember so well the old cameras, glass plates, the Studio with the back drops seen behind most of the portraits. Friends with his two girls, Christine and Barbara. Memories....

My gran lived at effingham road and my family in the same house from 1968 I remember her mentioning the brabazon house.i would love to know more about this place if anyone knows about what it was actually for.
