Noel Craggs from Cross in Hand, East Sussex posted this comment on Sunday 09 June 2019 08:02:50.

The aircraft in the picture is actually a Miles Hawk Trainer and it crashed on the 29th November 1953 - not the 19th November 1951. Also, the registration of the crashed aircraft is G-AIYD - not G-AITO. There is a detailed account of the incident and more photographs on the South East History Boards Forum - the link to the topic is : http://sussexhistoryforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=14956.msg62990#msg62990
