I currently live in 75 Earlsbrook Road. Unfortunately it's very very haunted so would love to know its history.

Concerning the correspondence on bombs in the Redhill area, below are the details from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission records, and they record the death of my first cousin once removed's wife. She and her son Ronald Louis Tickner, aged 5, were killed when a bomb hit their home at 96, Earlsbrook Road.

Who died age 28

on 19 June 1944

of 96 Earlsbrook Road, Redhill. Wife of Dvr. Percy John Tickner, R.A. died at 96 Earlsbrook Road.

Remembered with honour

Reigate, Municipal Borough

Their graves are in the Redstone cemetery.

Regarding Suzanne’s comment above, I have a video of my 104 year old Nan saying how her friend’s little boy was killed by a bomb in Earlswood. She didn’t mention his mother also died though. I wonder if it’s the same people.
