Concerning the correspondence on bombs in the Redhill area, below are the details from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission records, and they record the death of my first cousin once removed's wife. She and her son Ronald Louis Tickner, aged 5, were killed when a bomb hit their home at 96, Earlsbrook Road.

Regarding Suzanne’s comment above, I have a video of my 104 year old Nan saying how her friend’s little boy was killed by a bomb in Earlswood. She didn’t mention his mother also died though. I wonder if it’s the same people. |
