I cant believe it the house in the picture above is where i went to school in the 1960's,up the steps right in front of them was the dinning room to the right of that was the staff room.To the left were class rooms and on the floor above were the dormatries.There wre steps on the right that went down on to Colley Lane,and on the side was a path that went down the side to a cottage wre on of the teachers used to live and that had a drive which went on to the main road and the heath was over the road, There was a sweet shop there, if i am not wrong there was a pub on the corner which went towards the heath aswell. I could go on and on it just unbelieable, i dont knon if it is still school as i live in Jersey in the Channel Island it would be good to know.I was in 7half acers which was quite large.

Melody, I think you will find that the property is now used as a care home and is called The Reigate Beaumont.

I use to go to Pine End Schoolin the sixties and have fond memories as well, just like Melody Taylor, I wounder if she remembers me. I use to love running around the vast grounds, we also had a gardening patch, inside the house was also beautiful, it was all wooden panelling, those stairs going to the rooms and dormatries. Melody when we went down to that little path to were the staff lived as well we use to have a class there doing cooking. Looking at that picture reminds me of some great days of my childhood,oven the heath we use to go cycle riding, go up the lane towards the hill and the farms, that School helped me to creative. How can I get picture of the above to show my children.
